JPN Terms of Service

These terms explain the conditions for using JPN, a service from J-Private-Networking Group (full name: Jigar Private Networking Group), including its account portal, downloads and any VPN, proxy, network or other third-party services that may be offered later. By creating an account, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.

Important privacy notice: JPN developers and administrators who have access to hosting, security, application or provider logs may be able to see your IP address and related connection metadata. Internet services are not magically anonymous just because the interface has a lock icon.

1. IP addresses and connection information

Your IP address may be processed or recorded by the providers that deliver JPN, including hosting, web delivery, authentication, API, security and network providers. Depending on the service and the access granted to a person, authorized JPN developers or administrators may be able to view IP addresses, timestamps, request details, account identifiers and diagnostic logs. We do not promise that every developer can see every IP address, or that every provider retains the same information. Access and retention depend on system configuration and provider policies.

Do not assume your IP address or activity is invisible to JPN, your internet provider, the websites you visit, or the providers operating a service. Information may be disclosed where required by law, to investigate abuse or protect the service, or as described by relevant provider policies.

2. VPNs, proxies and third-party services

If JPN offers access to a VPN, proxy, tunnel or other network service, you understand that your traffic may pass through JPN-operated infrastructure and/or independent third-party providers. The relevant provider may process connection metadata, IP addresses and traffic information according to its own configuration and terms. A VPN does not guarantee anonymity, prevent all tracking, or make unlawful activity safe. Websites can still identify accounts, browser fingerprints or other information.

You must read and comply with the applicable service provider's terms, privacy policy, acceptable-use rules and local laws. Do not use JPN or a VPN/proxy service to commit crimes, attack systems, distribute malware, infringe rights, evade lawful safety controls, or bypass school, workplace or network restrictions without authorization. JPN does not promise that a provider permits every use case or that a service will always be available.

3. Account security and acceptable use

Keep your credentials private and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity performed through your account, except where applicable law says otherwise. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other users, abuse limits, or bypass authentication, payment or access controls. We may suspend access to protect users, comply with law or respond to misuse.

4. Plans, payments, refunds and availability

Creating an account is not a purchase. A plan description or pre-order notice does not itself activate paid access. Unless a checkout flow expressly confirms a transaction, JPN does not treat a plan as paid. Features may be incomplete, changed, suspended or unavailable. Do not rely on a countdown as proof that every service, integration or payment feature is operational.

Refund policy: To the extent permitted by applicable law, payments are non-refundable, including for change of mind, unused subscription time, cancellation, downgrade or failure to use a service. This policy does not exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, statutory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. Where the law requires a refund or other remedy, that legal requirement will apply.

Enterprise inquiries do not themselves create a paid order. Any Enterprise quote, payment terms, cancellation terms or refund arrangements will be provided for review before a purchase is agreed.

5. Third-party providers

JPN may rely on GitHub Pages, Supabase, Render and other independent providers. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. JPN cannot guarantee their availability, security practices or retention settings, and you should review their policies before using JPN.

6. Privacy and data handling

JPN should collect and use information only for purposes such as account operation, security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention and service delivery. Actual data handling also depends on the deployed configuration and provider logs. Do not submit sensitive information unless it is necessary and the service explicitly supports it. For privacy questions or data requests, use the contact method published on the JPN website, if available.

7. Changes and legal rights

These terms may be updated as JPN develops. The version and effective date above identify the version shown at signup. Applicable consumer and privacy laws may give you rights that cannot be excluded or limited by these terms. Nothing here removes those rights.

8. Acceptance

When you tick the Terms of Service checkbox and create an account, JPN records the terms version and acceptance timestamp in signup metadata. The checkbox does not mean you waive statutory rights. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the relevant service.

This is a practical draft for the current JPN project, not legal advice. Have it reviewed for the jurisdictions where JPN will operate before treating it as a final legal agreement.
